Junglee Kannada Movie

Cast: Vijay, Andrita Ray, Rangayana Raghu, Adhi Lokesh, Sureschandra, Megabhagavatar, Kashi, Jaidev, Balu, Naveen

Director: Soori

Producer: Rockline Venkatesh

Soori directed Junglee has an assemblage of many top technicians of the Kannada film industry. Duniya Vijay who earlier got his first break as a hero under Soori has acted in the title role of this film. Since the audio of the film had become a chart buster and the songs had a popular appeal, many film industry personalities had expected this much expected film to revive the depleting fortunes of the Kannada film industry. However the film ends up as an ordinary fare thanks to a confusing script and crude narration by Soori.

Despite excellent song sequences, Andrita's glamour and a few action sequences featuring Vijay, Junglee has nothing else to write about. Soori's writing ability which had excelled in his earlier films has gone for a toss in this film. .

Though Vijay enjoys good screen chemistry with Rangayana Raghu, some of the dialogues written for them are in poor taste. And too many sequences look repetitive and irritating. And even the love sequences between the hero and heroine lacks subtlety which lessens the impact. Soori has depended more on the commercial aspects in Junglee than following the pattern seen of presenting harsh realities on screen.

Another weak point Junglee is that film lacks authentic touch. The characters in the film do not represent the characters that we often see in our midst.

The highlight of the film is certainly the songs. The composition and lyrics are good.
Yogaraj Bhatt's lyrics in Hale Paathre and Powder Haakkollo are mass oriented while Jayanth Kaikini writes one brilliant song Neenendhare Nannolage. Andrita Ray looks sensuous and glamorous on screen in all the three songs.

Here is the brief description of the story. Junglee Prabhakar wants to become an actor and takes the help of Gudde Narasimha, a good for nothing person who however is very influential. Gudde takes him to a retired Don Guruswamy for getting him a film offer. Meanwhile, Junglee falls in love with a college girl Padma and tries his best to please her. During one of the inter gang fights between rival groups, Junglee saves Guruswamy. But Padma's father is killed in the process. Padma wants Junglee to severe his connections with the gang. And there is a big story later told in straight and flash back narration which could be best seen on screen.

Performance wise, Vijay shows his mettle in a few sequences. Rangayana Raghu irritates in a few sequences. Andrita is good in dance sequences. Aadi Lokesh has nothing much to do in the Villain's role. Nanjunda and Sureshchandra are good in their respective roles.
Hari Krishna's music and Sathya Hegde's camera work are really good.

Junglee is a mixed bag. It could have been a better film if Soori had worked a little more on the script.

Minchina Ota-2008

Movie Name: Minchina Ota
Release Date: 10th July 2008
Director: A.M.R.Ramesh
Producer: Sa. Ra. Govindoo
Starring: Vijaya Raghavendra, Murali, Lakshmi Rai, Mukyamanthri Chandru, Rangayana Raghu, Suman and Rahul Dev.
Music: V.Manohar

Minchina Ota Movie Review

Director AMR Ramesh got laurels for good cinematography done by Randy in 'Cyanide' and he continues it in 'Minchina Ota'. Thanks to cinematographer of high caliber P.Rajan this time. His work is the only redeeming feature of the film. The siblings Vijaya Raghavendra and Srimurali for the first time do not set a tall order. The lack of good story and usual screenplay is a big bottleneck of this film.

For the trumpeting what the director AMR Ramesh made has not given the triumphant results. His over confidence and immature thoughts gobbled a few crores of rupees. Why the senior producer Sa.Ra.Govindu was not vigilant on the making of this film? This is not the time to make a film with very low standards. The involvement of siblings Vijaya Raghavendra and Srimurali is also lacking. At least they could have given some refreshing thoughts for the film. It is nothing but just one more addition to their list of films.

What this action packed 'Minchina Ota' says - Bhadra (Srimurali) and Vijay (Vijay Raghavendra) are at loggerheads. What is the strong reason? The director has forgotten to add. Lakshmi Rai the bubbly tall beauty has liking to slum living Bhadra. Vijay is interested in Lakshmi Rai but the humanity of Bhadra earns the love of Lakshmi Rai. Hesitantly Bhadra agrees to love Lakshmi Rai but Vijay on the other hand unknowingly that Lakshmi Rai is the sister of strong underworld don Rai in Mumbai inform him to see the end of Bhadra.

The major attack that follows from Rai gang puts down Bhadra severely hurt. Lakshmi Rai begs her brother not kill Bhadra and agrees to come with him to Mangalore. She even agrees for the marriage in Mangalore. At one corner of her heart she is optimistic that Bhadra will come to take her. Vijay knowing the pure love of Bhadra and Lakshmi Rai prior to this attack comes forward to give medical aid to Bhadra. Vijay even gives three bottles of blood to save Bhadra from death bed.

After recouping from severe blows it is time for Bhadra to reach Lakshmi Rai who is in Mangalore. Vijay also accompany Bhadra in the car and it is chasing time. As the caption of the film indicates it is 'Live to Chase and Chase to Live'. The Rai gang is very cautious on the moves of Bhadra gives him all sorts of trouble on the way. The big tormentor is the heavy truck driven by Rahul Roy who is given task of finishing off Bhadra. Against all odds Bhadra and Vijay reach underworld Rai spot in Mangalore. Rai is convinced that Bhadra can look after his sister very well.

A highly talented Vijay Raghavendra is not used properly in this film. The heroism is attributed to his brother Srimurali. When the siblings do not have equal roles where was the need to bring them together? Srimurali is splendid in action scenes. He has built the physique accordingly. Rangayana Raghu and Umasri combination is tortuous. Others do not deserve any mention.

The car hitting the train last bogie is not chilling. What the director explained has not come out on the screen.

V.Manohar is able to give only two lovely tunes. The main hero of the film is cinematographer P.Rajan. There are some beautiful shots that look like paintings on the screen. He is sure to be in the competition for awards.

AMR Ramesh it is time you make better films and save the sincere producers like Sa.Ra.Govindu. You have disappointed completely in 'Minchina Ota'.

Buddhivantha Kannada Movie

Cast: Upendra, Pooja Gandhi, Nethanya, Brunda, Saloni, Suman ranganathan, Lakshmi

Director: Ramnath Rigvedhi

Producer: S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu, A Mohan

Buddhivantha Kannada Movie Review

Upendra's new film Budhdhivantha directed by Ramnath is the remake of K.Balachandar directed Naan Avanillai released three decades ago. Though Budhdhivantha's main story revolves around the Tamil film which was based on a Marati play written by Acharya Atre.

The narration of the Kannada film has many things common with the recently released Tamil film with the same title directed by Selvam. Even the song tunes of the Tamil film have been lifted in Budhdhivanth which are however well choregraphed. Budhdhivanatha can not be out rightly dismissed as another remake film because of many original inputs that have gone towards the making the film.

The first and foremost is that the climax sequence of the film has been altered to suit the image of Upendra and also the native tests. It is the best part of the film. The court sequences in the film are much better than what was seen in two versions in Tamil. And the Rayalaseema portions where Upendra speaks Telugu dialogues and spoofs some Telugu heroes is outstanding.

Upendra shines as an actor and a writer and his contribution to make the film an entertaining product can not be undermined. Though he has shared the dialogues work with Venkatnarayan, it is evident that he has written dialogues for the key sequences and in the court room sequences. The film's five heroines have jelled well with the Real Star. Vijay Anthony's exceptional music and Giri's photography have been the major highlights of the film.

The story revolves around Panchamrutha who has been charged by four women that they have been cheated by them. Panchamrutha is arrested and produced in court, but he claims that he is innocent. He argues that the gullible girls have been cheated by some one looking like him and they have foisted falls cases on him. Finally he argues the case on his own and wins the battle in court. Meanwhile, the Judge's daughter who is watching the proceedings becomes a great fan of Panchamrutha. Finally Panchamrutha reveals as to why he had played tricks with the four women.

Upendra rocks in the film from the first sequence. His performance in this film can be regarded as one of the best in recent times. And his seven get ups are the highlights of the film. Lucky girl Pooja Gandhi attracts with a bubbly performance. Suman Ranganathan is also good. Nethanya, Brunda and Saloni have performed their roles with ease.

Budhdhivantha's strong point has been the picturisation of songs which perfectly fit into the song compositions. Chithranna Chithranna has already made a big impact in the audio world. All the songs are excellently shot. R.Giri's cinematography with its top angle movements is exceptional. The editing ensures a very good pace.

Budhdhivantha is a definite entertainer which gives full value for the paisa you spend. Watch it and enjoy.

Chaitrada Chandrama Kannada Movie

Cast: Pankaj, Amoolya, Shobaraj, Veena Sunder, Pallakki Radhakrishna
Direction: S.Narayan
Production: Smt.Bhagyavathi
Music: S.Narayan

Chaitrada Chandrama Kannada Movie Review

While all new comers are having a teething trouble in one or the other way Pankaaj has the teeth trouble. Otherwise it is a splendid debut for him. Shaped up by his renowned father who is one of the prime directors, producer, writer and actor too on Kannada screen S.Narayan it is a good preparation for youngster in a colorful style. Minus one hour of the film add some comedy to the film it would be a terrific film to watch. Why a senior director like Narayan has consumed so much of time to showcase his son for his home banner that too while launching son is the question that remains in the mind. Today's zamana is not for seeing the lengthy films with unwanted inconsequential scenes.

Pankaaj (Pankaaj) is a marvelous cricket player. His father intention in life is that his son should occupy the national team and become international cricket player. Pankaaj works hard and proves from his county matches that he is a cricket player to watch. He is not out on all the 60 plus matches he played. Such a workaholic and disciplined youngster face the first distraction in his mind from Ammu daughter of Army officer. Pankaaj and Ammu after initial quarrel become very close to heart and that is the major mistake and diversion in the life of Pankaaj. In order to save Ammu from bad elements he elopes with her to Kashmir to leaver her to the safe custody of her father. He takes this decision instead of going to Mumbai to attend the national cricket team practice session. This aversion in the wake of love to cricket Pankaaj has developed disturbs his father and his coach is upset. In Kashmir Pankaaj and Ammu are traced by police and brought safely to Bangalore. The shocked father of Ammu a military personnel finds a solution when his daughter attempts to commit suicide. He throws a challenge to Pankaaj to prove his mettle in the cricket field first and then ask for his daughter. Pankaj wins everyone from the last ball he faces hitting it to the six.

The action, dialogue delivery and screen presence of Pankaaj is passable. He has to refine a lot but that will take a few films for him. The best part of the film is Amoolya. Taking on from previous film 'Cheluvina Chittara' the runaway hit film of Amoolya looks very beautiful and she has the ability of becoming another Soundarya.

In the supporting cast Pallakki, Veena Sunder, Suma and Shobaraj are very good. There is no comedy in this film might be another minus point.

Three of the songs Mandharave Araluthidhe…Nanna Cheluvi….Nooraru Janumadha Gelathi are worth hearing again. Narayan as a music director too has great ability. Cinematography by Renukumar gives a pleasant treat to the eyes. The graphic work and editing done for the film adds extra dimension to the film.

A new hero is born in Kannada film scene from the prestigious director S.Narayan family. Welcome to Pankaaj.

Cyanide Kannada Movie

Cast: Ravi Kale, Malavika, Avinash, Rangayana Raghu, Tara, Nasser, Ashok Rao

Director: A.M.R. Ramesh

Producer: Halappa, Kenchappa Gowda

Cyanide Kannada Movie Review

"Cyanide" is an outstanding effort by Chennai film institute alumni A.M.R.Ramesh who has shown his level of excellence in just his second film. His first film "Santhosha", a breezy love story with new comers did not set the Box office by fire, but it was hailed as a sincere effort by a new comer.

Ramesh has this time ventured into making a thriller based on a real life occurrence. For "Cyanide" he has taken the incidents that occurred in the peripheries of Bangalore after the assassins of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi stepped into the city. The whole narration is gripping and a seat edging story telling is sustained throughout the film.

The director has chosen to select each of the characters very carefully by making some comparisons to the original characters.

The star cast is very perfect and the characters are easily identifiable even by their appearances. For example Marati Actor Ravi Kale, multilingual actress Malavika, National award winning actress Tara and talented actor Rangayana Raghu look every inch like the real life persons one eyed Jack Shivarasan, Shubha, Mrudula and Ranganath. The Police team led by Avinash has also acted and looks perfectly as police officers on a serious mission.

It is normally felt that making films on real life incidents may prove to be very difficult as the chances of taking cinematic freedom is restricted. And to narrate such happenings in a two hour time frame without a weak moment is in itself a great challenge. Director Ramesh accepts the challenge to deliver a perfect ten film. "Cyanide" is indeed one of the best Kannada films to have been released recently.

"Cyanide" is fantastically packaged with the finest technical values and some great acting performances. Though the film has no songs, the 115 minute film keeps you engaged through out and you may have to hold your breath continuously.

Ramesh has not compromised in the making of the film and despite not having a big star cast; he has taken care to select the finest technicians down south. All the big names Cameraman Rathnavelu, Music Director Sandeep Chowta and Editor Anthony have supported the director to the hilt.

Cameraman Rathnavelu who has worked in several top commercial films comes to Kannada films for the first time to take the cake for his stupendous work behind the camera. It is Mumbai based Kannadiga Sandeep Chowta who stands out with his background score which matches the mood of the film. Anthony makes a sharp work and his editing work is most appealing. Ramesh's dialogues are crisp and effective.

"Cyanide" is backed by some fantastic performances by Ravi Kale, Malavika, Avinash, Tara, Nasser and other artists. Ravi Kale's appearance on screen is enough to frighten you. Avinash delivers a dignified performance as Senior Police officer Kempaiah who tracked the militant tigers through his painstaking investigations. But it is Tara yet again who scores in the role of much tormented Mrudula. Rangayana Raghu looks every inch like Ranganath and he has excelled in his work. All the other artists have done their roles with dedication and competence.

Totally "Cyanide" comes out as a fresh wave of fragrance which is extremely likeable. It is a must see film for not only Kannada film enthusiasts, but all the film buffs who look for some quality effort.

Sangama Movie Review
One of the strongest media of entertainment cinema is also a very responsible medium. Understanding this factor SV Productions in yet another lavish and well thought out film gives a message in their family entertainer that 'Belief is more important than Love'. This is when the two neighbors' are living in the society focuses 'Sangama'. The responsibility shown and affection rendered here are the redeeming features of the film. This is a socially relevant film too. The feel good factor of the film is doing deeds by the protagonist. Some mellifluous and foot tapping songs, splendid photography lift the quality of the film.

Balu (Ganesh) journey in life is filled with doing well to those whom he meets. He is the darling of Lachchi (Vedhika) family because he is always a decision maker in the family. When a software boy is selected for the marriage of Lachchi it is Balu who goes with Khama (Komalkumar) to know the true colors of the boy. When the duo describe in the family of Lachchi how 'Naalayak' is the boy for Lachchi there is a feel of rejoice. The savior and protector of Lachchi family Balu is a small time real estate operator for his livelihood.

When Lachchi is down with fever it is Balu who takes her early in the morning to perform the ritual on her behalf. This care and affection that is very pure gives a space in the heart of Lachchi for Balu. Lachchi express her interest in him at the interval point but Balu knows where he stands. Firstly he is not well off to give a comfortable living for Lachchi and most important is that the family of Lachchi banking on him. He considers in life that belief should not be dislocated in front of love.

When Balu knows that Lachchi likes him and not the software guy from Germany he becomes very alert but destiny has something else in store. His good friend Khama and family members of Lachchi respect the attitude of Balu and they relieve him of the fear that belief is affected when he marries Lachchi. The software guy ready for marriage returns softly from the scene.

This is the most responsible film from the most popular actor Ganesh. He does not have the speed of dialogues in this film that is his major trump card but he gives his best looking very charming on the screen. How a neighboring girl should be taken care take a note from this film. The costumes selection and choreography are splendid for Ganesh. Vedhika is a heroine to watch. She has the perfect personality and her ability to emote is also superb. Rangayana Raghu deviating from comedy gives a surprise as a very responsible father. Komalkumar fills the comedy department. Maina playing the eunuch in the film is disgusting.

Devisriprasad has given three memorable tunes in his first entry to Kannada. The more use of sounds at places could have been avoided. Yet Dilmange more…..Kodu Kodu varavanu Bagavantha and title track are worth hearing again. Lyricist Kaviraj has given a well thought out wordings in his lyrics.

Shekar Chandru camera has no flaws. His hard work is seen because on two occasions despite of the usage of huge lights at the backdrop he gives a treat to the eyes.

Go with your family and don't forget to take the neighbors. Here is a film that speaks so high of your neighbors.

Kamannana Makkalu Kannada Movie

Banner: Udayaravi Creations
Cast: Sudeep, Rockline Venkatesh, Doddanna, Deepu, Vaibhavi, Sadhu Kokila, Ramesh Bhat, Adhi Lokesh, Pooja Gandhi
Direction: Gurudutt
Production: Gurudutt
Music: Vidyasagar

Kamannana Makkalu Movie Review
Producer cum director Gurudut estimating the demand of Sudeep, Rockline Venkatesh and Doddanna fans in Karnataka has given a right preparation with very lively moments in 'Kamannana Makkalu'. Strongly inspired from Tamil film 'Majaa' (starring Vikram produced by Rockline Venkatesh) this film is a revenge saga. There are many shoddy situations that could have been deleted so that the film would have looked crisp and clean. The dialogues are loud for all the key artists.

Kamanna (Doddanna) has brought up Ramanna (Sudeep) and Kittanna (Rockline Venkatesh) from childhood. All the three are efficient thieves. One fine day they all decide to give up their profession of stealing and settle down in some other place. They are traveling in a lorry that develops mechanical defect in the midst of a forest on a dark night. To their destiny they find a house in the next morning to live. This is the house of Kanaka (Vaibhavi). Her father is facing a difficult situation in front of the village chieftain. The stay of trio in this house gives some relief and courage to the distressed family. The trio - Kamanna and his two sons barge on chieftain and solves the litigation further enrages the village chieftain. The trio decides to stay in this village thereafter doing cultivation. In a fare Ramanna ties the mangalasutra to Gayathri daughter of village chieftain just because he liked her evokes noise. The village chieftain give up his harshness for the sake of his daughter Gayathri and if the audience think everything is OK and it will lead to marriage hall they are mistaken. The director brings in mistaken identity and a villain at this point of time. Siblings Ramanna and Kamanna turn temporary enemies and the villain a relative of Gayathri wants to marry her at any cost. The stage is set for a battle in which 'Kamannana Makkalu' wins.

Here is a right kind of film Sudeep fans are looking for. The dialogue, looks and action of Sudeep cheer up the fans. Rockline Venkatesh the noted producer who had given up acting after a few films in the past matches the role. Doddanna wins in the dialogue delivery and natural acting. Ramesh Bhat is as usual in the supporting role. Vaibhavi has the mesmerizing looks but she has not been used properly in this film. Deepu as counterpart to Sudeep looks good. Sadhu Kokila comedy is bit irritating.

There are only two songs worth hearing. The splendid outdoor location is a treat to the eyes. The wrong Kannada grammar atop the lorry should have been corrected.

This is a fairly good entertainer.

Bombaat Kannada Movie

Cast: Ganesh, Ramya
Direction: Rajendra Babu
Production: Rockline Venkatesh
Music: Mano Murthy

Bombaat Movie Review

Lover boy Golden star Ganesh with series of hits to his credit turns action hero from this 'Bombaat'. His much loved dialogue is rather harsh in this film but he plays the role with lot of intelligence is what gives pleasant surprise to the audience. Instead of making it a full length action cinema director D.Rajendra Babu has efficiently drawn the screenplay with mother sentiment and responsibility of citizens. How the audience would take up the sudden change in the characterization of Ganesh? We have wait for some days to know the result.

The story of this film appears to have been lifted from various films is a war against muscle and influential on the one side and honest youngster with police support on the opponent side. The result is as expected.

Firstly it is taming of shrew kind of job for Anand (Ganesh). Shalini (Ramya) the foreign returned MBA graduate daughter of police commissioner (played by Avinash) on three occasions sees Anand in public places behaving like a rowdy. She wants him to be behind the bars and seeks her father's help. Anand is put behind the bars only at the behest of Shalini but released soon. The police commissioner knows pretty well that Anand is a good guy. On all the three occasions he has helped the police in nabbing the culprits. So he had to trash criminals in the public place.

With such an introduction the director moves on to the camp of bad guys. Gajendra, Dasa, Adhi – all mischievous people are ruling the state from their power. The politicians and police are puppet in front of them. Adhi of the gruesome trio has fallen flat to police commissioner daughter Shalini and he wants to get married to her. In a rude and shocking style the police commissioner house is invaded by the trio for engagement of Shalini and Adhi. So far so good the turn of events is miserable for Shalini and her father.

The clever boy Anand strikes the mind of police commissioner and Shalini is brought to his house for one month of safe stay. Anand who is powerful in his muscles and brainy too accepts the offer of police commissioner. The trio follows Anand and a truce is worked out. Anand promises to send Shalini after one month and he makes the trio to believe him. In the one month time Anand makes some calculative moves and dislodge the unity in trio. The divide and rule policy he adopts works out because he has the police force behind him.

After uprooting everyone what is it the net result for Anand? He gets his mother wish of 14 years fulfilled. Anand's father a treacherous rowdy has caused worries to the people. This is not liked by Anand's mother. She goes for isolation only to return seeing her son in the law abiding police officer uniform.

Ganesh has been very quick in action scenes and lot of stunts he has done – on air for quite sometime thrill his fans. He is out from regular pattern of his six earlier quality box office films. He is too good in romance with lovely looking Ramya. Except romancing with Ganesh the talented Ramya has nothing much to do. While Vinayaprasad is close in a room to see her son as cop Ramya is also kept in room after she comes to Anand house.

Avinash is apt as Police Commissioner. Rahul Roy, Mukeshi Rish, Gurudutt, Adhi Lokesh add good support.

Music mantrik Mano Murthy gives two lovely tunes for which the lyrics are also well written. Shekar Chandru gives the pleasant treat for the eyes. The slow motion shot where Ganesh goes on the air with soda bottles surrounding him in the action scene is well captured.

A good treat for family audience!

Vamshi Kannada Movie

Banner: Sri Chakreshwari Combines
Cast: Puneeth Rajakumar, Nikitha, Ravi Kale, Komalkumar, Vishwanath, Rajendra Karanth
Direction: Prakash
Production: Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar
Music: R.P.Patnayak

Vamshi Movie Review

The high expectations from 'Vamshi' – Destiny Child - is destined towards meeting the needs of commercial package instead of trying out new measures with such a powerful artist team, production house by intelligent director Prakash.

The heart burns of a rowdy son getting rejected by the final panel in the interview for the cop post is understood. The higher ups rejecting such upright youth is in the book of rules is also admitted. But why a new shade is not extended instead of the youth taking on law into his hands and jumping to underworld to meet his ends? This is the usual turn of events. This is what not expected from a director like Prakash. Vamshi holding the stick and teaching students in the class room the penultimate scene of the film after everything is over is a consolation.

Vamshi importance in life is only for his mother and aim is to join the police department. He perfectly knows what he wants and how he should keep his mother happy but his extreme anger and situations make him to move to the wrong steps which his mother does not want. The only wrong patch for him is his father is an underworld don Kotnal Ramachandra. On this ground that he is the son of a rowdy he is not selected for the cop post. The fury of Vamshi grows multifold and his mother is shaken but not fiancé of Vamshi that is Sharadha. She is ready to live with him adds more courage but Vamshi is forced to cross the wrong path when he is tagged in public life that he is the son of rowdy. The respect out of fear is not he wanted.

What a solid and constructive attitude of Vamshi to drive out the bad elements in the society and police department falls like pack of cards. It is at this stage the change is needed instead of going in for ordinary thought process. Vamshi is pushed to underworld by the director creating such circumstances. A rowdy's son becomes a rowdy of highest standards. Vamshi reach of heights worries the police especially Reddy because he is Vamshi's target. The pathetic past of Vamshi's mother is even harder to digest. Over hearing this Vamshi decides he is at fault not his mother in his life. He decides to surrender to police for better life but mother of Vamshi has different calculations when the police department says that Vamshi will be put down on the streets.

Vamshi comes to meet his mother with a feared crown he had earned for underworld activities to express his inner feelings but his mother before he could say anything feeds him with poison. Very happily Vamshi accepts the decision of his mother and when he is half through the death the police, politician and underworld joining together attack him because he is surrendering to police. Vamshi rise from almost death gulping salt and water to wash his stomach first and puts down everyone who come before him. Vamshi, his mother and wife are shown leading a happy life after three years of gap on the screen.

Macho hero Puneeth Rajakumar has got the perfect selection of role to meet the needs of box office. His action scenes are chilling and his ability to emote and dance deserves applaud. Nikita as Sharada is very pretty and very good actress too. The second screen stealer of the movie is actress Lakshmi. As an ill fated mother she has showed what natural acting is. Komalkumar comedy is kicking. Rajendra Karanth as don, Avinash as politician and Ravi Kaale as crooked cop is acceptable.

Idhenaithu….Jothe Jotheyali….Amalu Amalu….Thaayi Thaayi sung by Dr.Rajkuamr for 'Hoovu Hannu' used again here for important situation are worth hearing and watching on screen. RP Patnaik comes back with good tunes. KK is once again splendid in his camera work.

This is recommended for viewing youths, police department and family audience.
